At Westco Construction, we are deeply committed to the well-being and prosperity of our community. Rooted in Southern Alberta, we understand the unique needs and aspirations of our region. That’s why we proudly introduce the Westco Cares Community Gifting Program, a community-driven initiative aimed at supporting local organizations in making a positive impact on our community.
We understand the impact of unity, especially during challenging times, and we are thrilled to contribute to causes that bring support and joy to our community.

Westco Cares Community Gifting Program
Event Sponsorship
Up to $5,000 per event Larger amounts require a meeting with the Marketing & Communications team.
Gift-In-Kind Sponsorship
Up to $5,000 per event Assistance with project deliverables such as renderings, labor, etc.

Through the Westco Cares Program, we aim to empower local organizations to create positive change and build a stronger, more resilient community together.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for support from Westco Cares, organizations must meet the following criteria:
- Located within Southern Alberta
- Projects or events that benefit the local community directly
- Not for special interest events (i.e. weddings, religious gatherings, demonstrations, marches)
- Retroactive expenses or accumulated deficits are not eligible for funding
- Alignment with the mission and values of Westco Cares.

Evaluation Process
Each application will be carefully evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Alignment with Westco Cares' mission and values.
- Potential impact on the local community.
- Feasibility and sustainability of the project or event.
- In-kind (volunteer) hours will be valued at the living wage rate of $20.60 per hour for Southern Alberta, as determined by the Alberta Living Wage Network for 2023 when calculating the funding amount.
