Requirements

The successful applicant must meet or exceed the following requirements:

• General construction experience
• Experience operating skid steers
• Experience operating variable reach forklifts (Zoomboom)
• Experience operating aerial work platforms (scissor lifts, articulating boom lifts, and telescopic boom lifts)
• Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s Licence
• Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials and equipment

Working Conditions

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our construction team as Construction Labourers. This position involves working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions throughout both summer and winter seasons.

Construction Labourers play an important role in supporting construction projects by performing a range of physical tasks that contribute to the safe and successful completion of each project.

This is a full-time seasonal position with flexible work schedules. Shifts may extend up to 12 hours or longer depending on project requirements, although a typical workday is approximately nine (9) hours. Employees receive one (1) hour unpaid lunch break and two (2) paid 15-minute coffee breaks each day.

Principal Duties

Principal duties include, but are not limited to:

• Concrete forming, pouring, and finishing
• Steel erection
• Wood and steel framing for wall and roof systems
• Erecting precast concrete panels
• Installing insulation
• Installing metal wall and roof cladding
• Operating skid steers, aerial lifts, Zoombooms, and other construction equipment
• Performing earthworks and site preparation activities
• Completing general construction labour duties as assigned
