Taber Christian High School

Our recent project in collaboration with the Taber Society for Christian Education reflects a remarkable fusion of design and functionality in an impressive high school building. Completed in the spring of 2022, this institutional project showcases a masterful blend of post and beam structural steel complemented by a sturdy wood sub-structure and deep acoustical decking. With a concrete mezzanine providing additional strength, this 33,000 sq ft facility stands as a testament to craftsmanship and innovation. The building envelope boasts insulated metal panels, various cladding, and exquisite Strata-Clad Architectural Panels, ensuring optimal insulation and comfort as well as an aesthetic that leaves a lasting impression.

Building Features

Concrete: Concrete slab throughout, concrete foundations walls, mezzanine topping and foundation walls
Metals: Engineered steel structure, steel roof truss system with perforated Q-deck for acoustical purposes throughout, steel stairways
Thermal & Moisture: Exterior wall insulation, poly vapor barrier, combination of metal cladding and Hardie-Plank and IMP exterior finishes
Openings: Exterior and interior steel man doors, aluminum curtain wall front entry and aluminum clad PVC windows for classrooms
Finishes: GWB partition, ceilings and bulkheads, fiber glass insulation and partitions finished for paint where required
Specialties: Washroom steel partitions with steel doors and locksets
