OUR APPROACH

Building Features

Concrete: Concrete foundations and aprons with hydronic heating system, interior concrete floors with hydronic tempering within the showroom, cast in place concrete mezzanine floor and precast concrete partition wall separating the Showroom area from the Shop.
Metals: Conventional steel structure, open web steel joist roof and mezzanine structure, 2” Metal mezzanine decking, DELFT perforated roof deck for sound dampening.
Thermal & Moisture: FALK Insulated metal panel system, Durolast roof system, R35 roof insulation system
Openings: Rytec high speed coiling doors on the retail front end of the building (Service Reception and New Vehicle Delivery), full-view sectional doors in the service shop area, triple glazed curtain wall system to the retail front end of the building, double glazed window units in the shop are to increase the natural lighting within, coiling fire doors and shutters, pressed steel frames, hollow metal, insulated metal and solid core wood doors, interior aluminum partitions and windows
Finishes: All finishes in accordance with the Toyota Canada design control requirements to suit corporate imaging, floor tile throughout the main floor showroom area, resilient sheet flooring to the second floor, Ston-Hard epoxy floor system within the Service Reception area, steel stud and drywall partitions, suspended grid and ceilings, Hunter Douglas beam cloud systems, interior and exterior paint finishes
Specialties: Grab bars, toilet partitions, distraction banding on interior glazing
Mechanical: Energy model to meet level 2 requirements, makeup air and exhaust, Hydronic heating, Nederman vehicle exhaust extraction system, fire suppression system
