Reimagining the Cranbrook Hyundai Dealership Showroom was a remarkable commercial project managed by Fred Uwazny. This impressive undertaking commenced on February 22, 2020, and reached completion on November 6, 2020. With a sturdy steel structure and an aesthetically pleasing building envelope comprising IMP, Glazing, DuroLast Roof System, and Franchise ACM Rain Shield, this 5,300 sq ft facility exudes excellence reflective of the Hyundai brand..

The sophisticated space boasts a number of cutting-edge features, including a state-of-the-art GDSI Showroom, well-appointed Sales and Management Offices, a versatile Board Room complete with a Kitchenette, a convenient Coffee/Refreshment Centre, a welcoming Customer Lounge and a dedicated Parts and Service Area.

Concrete:  Cast in place strip footing, foundation wall, slab on grade, slab on deck
Metals: I-Beams set on HSS columns, Open Web Steel Joists with Metal Q-Deck
Thermal & Moisture: Falk Paneling on exterior walls of Showroom and Corrugated Panel on Service and Shop exterior walls
Openings: Pressed steel frames, hollow metal doors, insulated metal exterior man doors
Finishes: Carpet tile in customer lounge area, Ceramic tile throughout Showroom and Service/Parts Counter Areas
Specialties: Signage compliant with Hyundai Canada Design Control Document (CDC); Board room and Customer refreshment center with compliant Hyundai/RH Carter Architects CDC
Mechanical: mechanical systems and controls meet current Energy Code requirements
