Requirements

The applicant must meet or exceed the following requirements:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Above average computer skills with experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with AutoCad/Revit
AB Class 5 Drivers Licence (Clean drivers abstract)

Working Conditions

The Full-Time Design & Drafting Technician plays an essential role in supporting the sales team, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service. This position requires a deep commitment to the company’s values, treating each client like family, building trust, and delivering design solutions that consistently exceed expectations. The role involves:

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a 1-hour lunch break. All hours are paid as regular time; no overtime is provided. The total hours may vary depending on workload.

As a key contributor to the sales process, the Design & Drafting Technician will collaborate closely with the team to develop creative and precise designs that align with client needs while supporting overall project goals.

Principal Duties

This position is a full-time position drafting presentation and construction drawings and encompasses the following responsibilities:

Drafting presentation drawings and renderings for sales staff
Providing construction detail drawings
Checking of shop drawings
Attending construction meetings on sold projects
Preparing drawing packages
